Danish Quapoor is an Australian multi/inter-disciplinary visual artist based on Gurambilbarra / Townsville. His practice includes work across textiles, illustrative painting and ceramics, with forays into animation, murals, collage and photography. Quapoor’s work often subverts his conservative upbringing, interrogating identity, relationships, religion and sexuality. He typically produces flat-colour works in which stylised forms float amidst sparse compositions.
