SICs Degrees - Collaborate
SICs Degrees is a collaborative art project, exhibition & online experience, curated by Danish Quapoor, featuring 16 artistic collaborations. (See the full project description here or read about the artists here). Now you can collaborate and be involved too! Download and collaborate on one of the unfinished artworks, then upload it for potential inclusion in the exhibition or online gallery.
Steps to collaborate:
1. Click on the artwork below that you wish to collaborate on to download it.
See the full terms and conditions at the bottom of this page.
2a. Print the image on good quality paper (ideally A3) and add to it (or otherwise remix, re-construct or complete it), OR
2b. Collaborate on the artwork digitally.
3. Scan or save your completed work in high-resolution.
4a. Upload it (via the form at the bottom of this page) by 5pm Saturday 7 November for the curator's consideration, AND / OR
4b. Share your collaboration on Instagram and tag @danishquapoor and hashtag #sicsdegrees
5. Danish Quapoor will select artworks for inclusion on the online gallery and potentially for the exhibition at Murky Waters Studio.
6. Repeat this process as many times you want! Try finishing each of the artworks, or collaborate on the same work in different ways!
This project hopes to be inclusive! People from culturally & linguistically diverse backgrounds, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people, Australian South Sea Islander people, people who experience disadvantage, people with a disability and young people are all encouraged to submit entries.

By downloading a work, you agree to:
- Collaborate on the artwork and not simply print the image as a free artwork. The original artist retains copyright of their work as it stands.
- Credit the original artist and credit the project (if sharing your collaboration) with the following text: SICs Degrees is a collaborative visual arts project curated by Danish Quapoor and supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund. RADF is a partnership between the Queensland Government and the Townsville City Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
The collaboration must be uploaded to the form below (in high resolution) for potential inclusion in the exhibition.
The resultant collaboration must not be derogatory towards the project or artists involved or otherwise overtly offensive.
