Collaborations
Danish Quapoor's practice is informed by collaborating with humanimals, artists, self-declared non-artists, children and children of the corn. Luckily, Danish thoroughly enjoys collaborating, and finds that the creation of artwork in this way often leads to imagery that is greater than the sum of its parts.

THERE IS NO RELIEF OR RELEASE FROM SORROW ZINE PROJECT (2016)
Danish Quapoor was included in the collaborative zine project curated by Philip Dearest (Brisbane). The featured images are Danish's interpretations of the theme, including a collaborative artwork (far right) with Philip Dearest.
In Dearest's words: "There Is No Relief Or Release From Sorrow" is an art therapy project about acute sadness / tragedy / depression / grief / rejection in different genres (illustration / painting / collage / poetry / essay / photography etc) to be turned into a zine and distributed around the world, and hopefully also as a exhibition. No censorship. Strictly white-on-black A5 portrait submissions 300dpi. The phrase "there is no relief or release from sorrow" must be included somehow into the submission (subtly or not). Another requirement is the inclusion of plants and the moon. I'm hoping for a book that can help people learn to express extreme sorrow, let's vent some sad shit. Keeping quiet about sad-stuff kills people... The more artists and the sadder the more therapeutic it'll be..."
